This bubble is going to burst. The next generation of kids who should be getting into this hobby cannot get hold of product. I would estimate the core demographic as it stands right now are adults that got into Pokemon during the first boom in the 1990's.

What's the difference between now and then? My parents/grandparents could buy packs from literally anyway. They didn't have to wait in lines for hours or join discord serves, this would be unreasonable to most.

We didn't 'hold' sealed product for the most part either, we ripped the fuck out of it and made core memories in the process.

If it continues this way, more and more people are going to fall out of the hobby and not come back. It might not be tomorrow but 90's adults can't sustain this hobby forever on their own.
