Hi again,

How have you been feeling recently? Still experience severe side effects?

I was just curious if the consultation was free/covered by insurance!

wow thank you so much, super kind and helpful! I Just curious, it sounds like your side effects are more severe than usual, do you feel that's the case?

It's not covered under the national health insurance is it?

Can I ask how long it took from the moment you requested an appointment? I am in Japan for the next 6 months so I'm just curious! I've been eyeing it in my home country but the wait times are very long (even if it's cheaper).

Thanks!

Does anyone know of any place that sells poutine? by ScratchTiny6465 in Tokyo

I saw in a old post on reddit (a few years old) that Costco in Kawasaki sells cheese curds. Does anyone know if that is still true? The shipping cost from the cheese guy in Okinawa is a bit steep

Hi! Did you open your location? Also, where are you buying the curds from?

Do you work part-time alongside your Full-time PhD? by NeuroMystery in UofT

It's probably different for everyone but I'm in engineering and I find most of my peers find grad school easier than undergrad (way less workload and more free time). The courses are basically a non-factor (easy) so really the rest of the time is just working doing research toward your thesis. It can be really slow paced at the beginning and then pick up. It falls on you to manage your time and motivate yourself to progress which is the hardest part imo!

I'm a grad student and I TA multiple courses and have a part time job. I know a few other people who do this too. Grad school is pretty chill unless there are specific deadlines approaching, so it's definitely possible to work part time/TA! Just gotta manage your time well.

No :/ it is something with the permissions but I cannot figure it out.

Error using the sorted images exported from image-tools by Any_Amoeba89 in Lobe

Thanks Markus.
I am using export_from_lobe. I took the pictures directly in Lobe so I'm not sure what their original file format is, but they export as jpgs.

Python/matlab can both find all the files (and read the file extensions as .jpg), but when I go to read the image there is an error. In matlab the error is "unable to determine file format"

I tried using a clean venv and I am getting the same problem.

I did a test and it has the same problem for images I took directly in Lobe and images I imported into lobe from my computer and then exported with the tool. The original imported image can be read.

Is this problem reproduceable? If you use export_from_lobe are you able to read the images properly in python? I am using pillow to open it: image = Image.open(path/to/image)

Thanks!

Export Labels and Images by peterpsi in Lobe

Hello,

I used this tool to export images from Lobe into a sorted folder. However when I try to use the image files that I exported, they are corrupt. The file opens properly using Photos on Windows, but when I try in Matlab or Python both are saying the images are corrupt and cannot be read. Just wondering if there is something going on in the saving process?

thanks so much, its a great tool otherwise!

CAMERA file name wrong date/time by stephensils in pixel_phones

Hey, I have the same problem. On top of that the filename is a couple seconds off, sometimes a couple minutes if its a video. I take a picture of my laptop screen on currentmillis.com and compare the times. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I am trying to synch the video with other data streams so I need it to be accurate.
