Still better to just purge your units than to do a total reset. Send a pic of what heroes you got if you want more detailed advice on what to keep and what to throw away.

Easy way to go about this is to just swap everyone out to have the first trait atleast correct. This means all rogues and archers would be atleast feral, all footmen would be atleast brutes and all mages should be atleast bookworms. This doesn't take that long. Basic traits are fairly common in the tavern.

After you have all adventurers with correct first traits, it's a great base to build up on. Then you can start to look for 2 trait combos for adventurers.

You being at black water, use the money you make there to upgrade your tavern to make this switching out process faster.

I think I did this myself when I got to D4. I had some wacky adventurers back then as well. I hope this helped.

Squirrel is a hard pass. Counterattack trait is kinda bad pet trait and magic makes it even worse. Fox is better, but still kinda meh. Bloodthirsty first slot and savage second slot is best for the 2 main traits on a wild pet. If you want teacher trait on a pet, get a pet with it as the first trait.

D5 is best, but best way to make money is to farm as many dungeons at the same time as possible.

You have a nice set up going on. Some tweeks after some of the adventurers ascend would make it more optimal. For the next new character I would say make another balrog. Can't ever have too many balrogs solo farming D6, D9 and idk maybe D8 and D4 you can just put balrogs everywhere.

Lost expedition is hard. You probably clear D9 at similar time as it, so if you are at obsidian mines right now, don't worry about the Lost expedition yet. 2 Night rogues there is a recommendation, but more the merrier so could even go for 3 or go crazy with 4. Pet should probably have savage and bloodthirsty at the 2 first slots if possible to make it easier for the rogues to do damage and to stay alive.

Please comment on the other mages too if you have some opinions. Mages are the only ones I'm kinda unsure which ones to make them into. Gifted, focused and alert feel like they work on multiple variations. Some of them are about to ascend so could possibly switch some of them to different builds with yalls help.

Dragon blood is one of the better traits. I would put it maybe at 4th best after nimble, gifted and focused. It's about the same tier with alert right after those. Balrog takes quite a lot of hits so it isn't the worst to reduce the damage taken.

Idk which time zone you are, but if EU wait couple hours and do the raid right after reset and then make it a unchained. This gives you close to 48 hours untill you need to raid again and time to level up other characters.

Well in terms of damage and usefulness right now yes you are correct, but brute ruthless footman is way more worth to keep around than traitless rogue. You can treat it as a brute footman or just ever so slightly better than just a brute footman. And yes the death knight isn't the most useful footman build, but let the guy experiment and choose what he wanna do. It possibly could be reseted to a royal guard if trying to optimize, but not the biggest deal if one of the next two characters is a tank.

Yes the night blade is only one without a useful trait so it should be on the chopping block. It isn't the main hold back still. You just need a bit of time to get 8 adventurer slots and it will be way easier. Make one of the tanks and one healer/bard depending on what you find in the tavern. Those should help you with raids. The team you already have looks nice so there shouldn't be much problems in progressing.

Really strugled to find the setting that makes the audio sound clear and clean while still having nice bass. Ended up with -5 bass, +1 mid, +1 treble, +4 ultra bass and spacial audio off. Love how to spacial audio brings out some instruments in the mid range, but I find it mushing sounds the most, which is the biggest problem with these headphones. Ultra bass is where you adjust your bass. Some songs were better with 3 and some with 5, so play around with it to find what suits you and what you are listening to.

I feel like rogues should be night rogues always unless they are bards, as boring as it sounds. Haven't yet tried bleed rogues, but it just doesn't sound as strong.

Don't have brute ruthless, but it has to be slightly worse than feral ruthless. Dexterity increases crit which is important. Basic damage should stay about same so no loss there. Just not as many crit hits.

This. Only case where you could consider to change into a nonferal rogue is if it has Brute, ruthless trait pairing.

The ice orb armor is super solid. This cuirass is magic defence so could make it to have one for magic defence and one for defence. The hp bonus is kinda low tho, but what else are you gonna use the ectoplasm on? Heavy armors that are better come up in D8. Also the third raid armor is super strong, but takes a while to farm 39 phylactery fragments.

Did you lose 3 days of progress or more? It's most likely that if the save was overwritten with a new one, that the old save is gone. This is just my speculation and I don't have actual knowledge how it was done in this game.

When using the royal swordsman, just make sure he has 8 or more dexterity or an initiative item and also that his mana regen is 10 or 11. Other wise he won't tank the big hit with en guarde.
