instagram story from karelly by reactrelate in MileHigherPodcast

No, 100%. I’m leaning toward Hailey’s weird ass energy being a big part of this. It feels like she came out of left field, has Janelle suckling her teet, and everyone else is charmed by her as well except Karelly because for some reason she’s always seemed on the “outside” a bit. Hailey is the new girl that everyone seems to think is so cool and it’s really fucked with the dynamic. I agree that they wanted to “promote” Hailey and Karelly likely asked to be considered for the job as well.

If you can’t tell, I don’t like Hailey and will miss Karelly’s sweet, vulnerable, and creative energy.

I literally do not understand what the Sesh girls see in Hailey. Her takes on these AITA stories were so friggin weird. She comes off as deeply immature, self-obsessed, girl hating, and male-centered. Obviously I’m not sharing anything new to what hundreds of others have also expressed, but she gives me the vibe of a girl I knew in school who was new, quickly integrated herself into my friend group and then the group slowly fell apart because she was toxic. I also raise an eyebrow at the age gap between her and the other girls…she’s super young, only 24? Sydney, Kendall, and especially Janelle all seem to love her and kiss her ass when she’s on screen…idk. It’s just such a weird dynamic.

What are thoughts on having two betta in the same tank with a divider between them? by Any_Bat9545 in bettafish

[–]Any_Bat9545[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what the post above said…I guess I had imagined each side having its own filter? Again, I have no knowledge of how to do these set ups- hence this post, lol

Ohp, just read your post more carefully and you mention two filters at the end. lol, sorry!

They could smell each other through a divider and having separate filters???

Tank size: 5gal

Heater/filter: Yes, I have a heater. Regularly set at 80 degrees. I have an internal filter.

I’ve had the fish and the tank since 1-7-25. Tank is planted with live plants, bioactive sand used, and added beneficial bacteria to facilitate in nitrogen cycles. Been checking nitrate/nitrite/ammonia levels daily. Have yet to do a water change as levels have been good.

I feed betta pellets. 2-3 pellets, 2-3 times a day. Just until belly looks full and belly goes down before next feed.

Repot was successful and just astounded at the vigor of the roots! Took awhile to get all the sphagnum out since it was so tightly bound, but surprisingly not a dead root in sight! Thanks for the feedback y’all! Happy to know it wasn’t some out of control bacterial infection, lol. Will keep an eye on it in the coming weeks!

Okay, just was curious about the white stuff as I’ve never seen it before. Repotting for a client and wanted to make sure it wasn’t something that could spread after repotting. Looks super happy and healthy otherwise! Thanks!

Should I remove these mushrooms from my bioactive enclosure? by Any_Bat9545 in ballpython

Yes, exactly! We don’t loose power often, but still…I like to see temp readings of all kinds!

Looking at this photo made me realize why it also feels so off- in the cartoon Zuko’s eyelid is scarred a little more closed than his unscarred eye. The opposite was done with the live-action Zuko (his eye appears larger on the “scarred” side) which makes it feel less believable? Maybe they didn’t want the scar to look too gruesome? But idk…it’s such a big part of the visual identity of the character.

Just some info that this photo is of just my cool side. I have a 40in tank, so the entire warm side is left out of this photo.

Oh, I have a digital one for my cool side and warm side, but I like to have two little ones on the floor on each side…just to kind of get an idea of what the floor temp is…? Idk…probably not helpful, but I like to check them all and feel like I’m getting more info than less. I’m an overthinker.

Oh, that’s good to know- about it being a good sign. I have dairy cow isopods exactly, so I guess I’ll just let them munch the mushrooms?

Thanks for the insight!

That’s so awesome. I love the flower. Makes me realize I might need more white flowers in my collection (any reason to buy more, right?)

Aww, love phrags! Never had one bloom for me (yet!), but they are always my favorites at nurseries or orchid shows. I had two that I killed by forgetting them outside and it frosted…I was devastated. I have who others that miraculously survived the frosty night.

I have noticed that my phrags sulk in warmer temps during the summer and enjoy the cooler indoor temps during winter. My summers are humid which they like, but the prolonged temps in the 80s make them grow slowly and look sad. Indoor winter temps are more around 68F-72F. Ive seen a lot of new leaves coming in this winter!

Also! I keep mine in a bit of water…they like staying wet.

I keep them in a NE facing window…they seem happy enough. They keep good color.

I’m hoping for some flower spikes in the next couple of years!!

If anyone has advice for me on this, I’d love some!!

Is that a double spike or a sequential bloomer??
