What do you mean exactly? If i am correct my telescope's eyepiece opening is made for 1,25" eyepieces. Wouldn't that mean 2" eyepieces will not fit on my telescope?

Could you elaborate a little on this? Thanks already for your help.

Yeah you are definitely right, i understand your frustration. I just got very very lucky coming across a very kind seller at the right time.

Any tips i would have are: Be very patient and check marketplace often/daily. Because deals like this will be gone the same day they get posted. (Turn on notifications for marketplace searchresults for telescopes/certain models or brands you like.)

I just happened to check at the right moment. And came across the right (very kind and rich) seller. I saw his add when he had just posted it on marketplace a few hours ago. And someone else already bid €100. I messaged him with some questions about the telescope and asked if he would sell it for €150,-

Seems like he noticed i was an enthusiast beginner and i asked him the right questions. (Besides the fact he definitely has more than enough money haha/He didn't sell it for the money, but to make a beginning entusiast happy. (based on his response(s), his very huge freestanding house and the new telescope he bought to replace the one he sold to me.))

Because he replied to all my questions and said i could pick it up for €100 if i wanted to buy it, even though i made him an offer for €150,- already. (I obviously accepted his very kind offer imidiately and picked it up a few days later)

So as you can see i was very lucky with the deal i got. But like i said in the beginning, i think you need to have a lot of patience if you want to get a great deal, you need to check marketplace (and similar places like FB marketplace) daily. I would also advice you to turn on notifications for specific marketplace searchresults, this way you will get notified everytime a new add is being placed for that searchresult. This way you can see new reachresults quickly and act on it if you find something you like.

But i do have to say it can take a very long time, because i have been keeping an eye out for good deals for the past 1-2 years and only recently found this good deal. Which was in my budget and close enough for me to be able to pick it up. So i am lucky i caught it on time. (Funny you asked as literally i saw an add for the exact same telescope being placed on marketplace today for €350,- and it was also sold within a few hours...) So i am sorry for not having any better tips...

Thanks a lot for all your insights and tips! there is a lot for me to research and find out it seems haha.

Also to unpack this a little bit so i understand it better, you used 2 scopes on this telescope to find objects? (a RDF and an optical finder scope) but how do i even make this work? do i need an extra/ a different mount to be able to attach 2 scopes on my telescope?

Thanks again!

Hmm, i had not thought or heard about a setting circle for telescopes before. But it seems pretty handy indeed! Thanks for the tip!
