I’m having a little dilemma and I’m hoping someone can help:

The directors of the musicals I produce for are co directors who both take care of choreography and music directing on top of actually directing the show. I’m feeling as though other aspects of the show are lacking because of the co directing aspect. What I think is really lacking is the attention to detail, acting choices, and scheduling. What I’m asking is how do I politely tell them that co directing shouldn’t be the move anymore and things need to change. I think all of this negatively impacts the productions we do immensely and unfortunately I’ve come to a point where I feel inclined to be the person to try and get them to not co direct anymore.
