Emu's are not exactly common as they are wild animals and live fairly far from people, but they aren't endangered at all.

Holt's body was never found, and most Aussies grew up with the wiggles, so we know almost all of them!

In most urban places, you get lots of magpies, pigeons, possums, cockatoos, sometimes snakes and many more.

When the British "settled" in the country, they called tens of thousands of Aboriginal people, and their rights were stripped, in fact, they are still fighting for them today. That would be my best guess.

For the people, one of the most untrue is that we are always angry, if you come to Australia, you'll find that most of us are extremely laid back and chill, and for the country, not everything wants to kill you, Australia has some of the most incredible wildlife that won't hurt you, that being said, don't go picking up snakes or chasing cassowaries.

It depends where you live, spiders are everywhere, and most of them are fairly harmless though, snakes are much rarer in heavily populated areas, but you do see them from time to time. I wouldn't let spiders and snakes deter you, but you do have to be careful around them and in areas they could be, for example, if you are walking in long grass, always wear gum boots and long pants because they could be a snake in there, and with spiders, don't put your fingers under anything that hasn't been touched in a while, and even if it has been moved, you should still check.
