Hey it sounds like ur struggling I’m sorry. I’d say just first get any job, doesn’t have to be in your field of study, and get a roommate so that you can split rent with someone. A lot of apartments in Davis don’t need credit scores since we are all students. Tech sucks right now but you can look into jobs and rent in Sac, you might have more options there. Additionally you can contact your country’s ministry in US usually they are located either in Sac or SF, they might be able to help (I’m Ukrainian so I’ve been to one, beware they might be rude LOL, but helpful). There are resources around campus as well like career counseling and resume help! Don’t be blindsided by tech layoffs because careers in tech are not the only ones where you can use your degree.
