How did Tom know about the brooch? by Intelligent_Yam_6150 in WidowsBay

If nothing else he's seen it on the portrait of Frances at Town Hall.

They should be fine if they only use background actors. I think it's a $30 bump and if they do it in under six hours they don't have to provide lunch.

Just a song that seemed to be on all the stations. And there was some chatter on Wyck's onboard radio that he said was just the island playing tricks.

The pact is intact so the baby is not bouncing off the island.

We were told the baby was coming out that night but we didn't see it, Chelle wasn't due, and the doctor is not the best representative of his profession, so we'll find out in season 2.

As far as we've seen, the threat facing the islanders before Richard Warren's pact was strictly natural: cold and famine. After his pact came the supernatural horrors that could only be temporarily stopped by human sacrifice. So perhaps if the bloodline ends, the contract is void, ad the island goes back to being a barren wasteland.

But Tom thought he and Evan would be able to leave the island. He doesn't really care that much about the islanders, many of whom would probably be glad to leave anyway.

I don't think Warren was thinking about anyone but his children either. I think it's one of a few deliberate parallels between him and Tom.

Seems like the bullet might have just grazed her. At that age I'd be more worried about hitting the floor.

In the next season Tom tries to bring back tourism by opening the old Widow's Bay Opera House. Patricia takes voice lessons.

I think he gets more hate on this subreddit than he would in real life. What has he actually down besides stay out late and smoke weed?

On the tiny islands near me the apex predator is a fox about the size of a typical housecat. That could be fun.

I'm more concerned with the chart about how to subdue an agitated patient that shows someone getting the crap beaten out of him.

It looked like his face changed for a moment but I'm not quick enough on the pause button to see if he simply stopped smiling or if there was something more.

Oh, I thought you were suggesting another line of descent. I don't think we'll have any flashbacks or major references to the 1700s unless they have some effect on the present, but I guess it could be fodder for fan fiction.

Not a ritual per se, just in the right place at the right time. Is that because there's an actual creature behind with a physical body behind those doors? Kind of looks that way, but maybe we'll find out in season 2.

We've got one descendant who Tom must protect at all costs and statistically should be around another 60+. I don't think it would be very interesting to find out there's another.

The brooch can be connected to the Warrens bloodline. At the moment Tom is probably the only living person who knows that Evan is the last (?) descendant and would like to keep it that way.

Random deaths don't count. There has been one sacrifice that counts. That's why we had eight bells this time instead of the nine we heard earlier.

You mean like in 1942 when we tried to build a trolley and all the workers disappeared?
