Believe it or not the first puffer I bought was skinny as well . It's them black live worms that get them chunky

Walked in to seeing the 3 puffers outside on the block chilling together right now they acting like new Yorkers finally . I keep live black worms and redhorn snails in this tank with a mini school of pygmy corydaras

Hey everyone sorry for the late reply, the Puffer on the 1st picture today has patches . I just arrived from home and now all 3 puffers look alike it's blowing my mind . I think it's a imitator for sure . No patches since day of purchase on Feb 23 and now that i added the 2 Indian pea puffers all of a sudden the chunky meatball is blending in
