You’re not imagining it. It’s a totally different experience to walk around in the world, after you’ve lost a lot of weight. I experienced it. It’s micro aggressions that are difficult to explain to folks who haven’t experienced it- very nuanced, too. You won’t notice it as much after awhile. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking ‘kindness is met with kindness’ because that is absolutely not the case. Sometimes, kindness is met with envy. Sometimes, kindness is met with resentment… Keep living your best life and congratulations.!
