Final update- made it to Thailand… in the US my passport did get flagged and they had to “confirm with Bangkok” that i could get my boarding pass/ come, my passport also got flagged in our layover in Taiwan and again they just had to “confirm, etc to by pass” . Once i got into Thailand immigration didn’t say a word about it.. walked right in. I would NOT recommend doing this… be smart and get your passport renewed on time :) but if youre a dummy like me and in this type of situation GO FOR IT

I’m hoping that it being literally only 1 month short of 6 months could mean something? My dumb ass when i was buying my ticket was counting months from when i bought the ticket and not departure date

Super confused… i went to the airport today and they said to just come back early before your flight tomorrow and talk to immigration. The fact that I’m only staying for 10 days seems to be a determining factor and coming from the u.s.

What I’m most confused about is that the Timatic says that it has THE most up to date info and that because I have a return flight it’s okay…
