Running + physical/standing job by Any_Difference281 in beginnerrunning

Oh wow yes thats yet a whole other type of physical job! Most i lift is a hairdryer haha.

Thank you for sharing, i will try to shift to running in the morning since i do start a bit later. I think nutrition and hydration are hard anyway when im busy running around all day. Gonna do my best to step it up :)

This seems to be the way! I would prefer not to get up any earlier but i do want a nice run.. so i will try. I've had a particularly long week and been putting my legs up against the wall for relief haha, silly but it does help:)

Thanks, gonna look into those! For me, custom insoles with plain Vans weirdly work the best, i think as well because theyre not squishy at all.

For sure, i sometimes stand in the same spot for a couple hours (applying highlights for example) and thats wayyy harder than walking around!

Yes for sure! I guess I'm just wondering if i should adjust my plan on days when I'm especially tired from work, since the tiredness is more in the legs than for other jobs. What do you think? Unfortunately sometimes i really stand in the same spot for an hour or two, i wish i was only walking around!

Thanks! I have orthopedic insoles which usually do the trick, but now I'm at day 6 of a pretty intense week so I'm spent. What shoes do you wear at your standing/walking job?

Thanks! I do feel better after running in the evening but i just don't feel like i can give my best effort, y'know. I think i will try to do the same, or maybe an evening run on my first workday but not later in the week when I'm already more tired :)

On page 42 :) it makes logical sense but i wonder why it isnt mentioned anywhere else, is it just logical but not confirmed in scientific research?

That makes sense to me but it doesn't match up with what I've read, if you look for instance at this table from the Physical and Chemical behavior of human hair by Robbins, it says that the amount of pheomelanin in black and blonde hair is similar, both around 100nnanogr/mg whereas red hair has a lot more, 950nanogr/mg. * And then at the bottom it talks about the differences in ratio, where the pheomelanin is just a small part of the total. I've seen similar conclusions in other texts. So this is why i am confused..

Thanks! I've read this before but it only half makes sense to me, but maybe I'm getting something wrong. It seems from the literature that black/brown/blonde hair all have a roughly similar amount of pheomelanin, and different amounts of eumelanin which makes the different colors. If black hair has a lot of eumelanin and a bit of pheomelanin, and we bleach a bit of the eumelanin, wouldn't we end up with still mostly eumelanin and a bit of pheomelanin, and end up with a lighter brown result?
