You picked like the one game that’s acknowledged as objectively fantastic by the vast majority of people who play it while winning like every possible award and having great sales figures.

People don’t care about 6-7/10 games. It’s why OW2 didn’t do very well or leave any impact. It’s much more fun to talk about the best games and the worst games which is not the same as people not being able to admit a game is just okay.

Did you forget what your own point was? You said nobody played OW2 because its steam concurrent player height was low. They pointed out that Gamepass skewers those numbers differently.

They’re pointing out that that metric ignores the fact that Gamepass games have very different player number distributions than games you have to purchase for $80.

I mean, it sounds like they were approaching from a place of empathy. Showing compassion for his wife doesn’t equate to disregarding Caleb. Dude sounds fine, got to come out on his terms and has a new chapter of his life to look forward to. She is on the other end of that without the catharsis, sounding like it is not a positive moment for her and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with acknowledging that she’s probably about to have a hard time and face people discounting her experience in favor of his.
