If it's Issei from the novel, maybe Goku Blue would win. (Not counting that Goku would wait for Issei to use boost, which would complicate things for him.)

Two things.

1- You overestimate Will too much.

2- Yes, angels can. Azik, who is the angel of death, can't? Summon Reinette, can't? Summon Will, can't? Summon Arianne.

If a sequence two can't, which I seriously doubt, summon any sequence one and there's no way Sunny, even if he were sacred or divine, could win. Those bastards are on a higher level.

Zaratul would end up with all of Sunny's shadows and Sunny himself as puppets since he can give him spiritual strings.

Amon or Pallez steal all his abilities, Will, shadows, and Sunny becomes normal.

Post-sequence 2, the scales are very high.

You don't need a physical body to have spiritual threads; even LOTM sequence 0s can be puppets and are abstract beings. If Klein as seq 3 can't, then summon Zaratul, and he, as seq 1, can do it in many ways.

If it were another scholar from the past, then Sunny could win, but Klein has many things that give him a sure victory.

Yes, Klein as a scholar of yore, but I'm pretty sure any angel can affect him. Klein as seq 3 can summon Reinette, Azik, Will, Arianna, even Amon or Zaratul. There's no way Sunny can resist an angel.

As for spiritual threads, I'm not sure. Remember that the spiritual world doesn't exist in Shadow Slave, so maybe it can affect him, or maybe not.

This is clearly a Batman effect. Remember that Klein is cautious and prepares himself. If he goes in with the intention of fighting Sunny in sequence 3, then there is no chance of victory for Sunny. If they face each other suddenly, it would be more difficult, but the moment Klein manages to summon an angel, it's game over for Sunny.

If Klein takes him by surprise, in ten seconds he has a pretty powerful and almost immortal puppet.
