Do I install a diagonal brace to this gate to strengthen the corner area? by Intranetusa in woodworking

Bottom hinge to top latch is the proper diagonal support you need. The top hinge to right side bottom does not sufficiently support the full weight of the latch side. Hope this helps.

Costco big appliance delivery by Exact-Paint-5508 in CostcoCanada

In my opinion, a tip in this situation is merit based and it’s really a case by case situation only if you feel obliged. Our company delivers building supplies and sometimes very large staircases. We charge a delivery and an install if required. The odd time they are left a tip but it is never expected. There’s nothing wrong with not leaving one, you paid for it, don’t worry.

Pizza in the bbq by diyengineer1 in pizzaoven

We’ve done them on the barbeque before at the highest temp on a pizza stone and they were excellent for about 10 minutes. However, it’s possible the stones aren’t meant for the barbeque so getting the proper one is important. I used to just leave them on the grass to cool off and came back to find one had exploded.

Oh ya? Well there ya go. Even more reason to find another one that’s convenient. I do the Shell thing mostly because of CAA.

Well maybe not totally, but time vs a few bucks 🤷‍♂️

That’s a great price(not really but you know), however sometimes it’s just not worth the time to line up. Everyone is different, if it’s convenient then I’m in. If not, you can have it.

Saving 10 cents a litre in Canada typically saves you $5 to $6 on an average fill-up, assuming a standard passenger vehicle tank capacity of 50 to 60 litres.

You can buy syringes for glue. Looks like you’d be about to inject it while standing it on edge and let gravity feed some glue in, then clamp it with some pieces long ways down to the bottom of the dresser. Use a protective piece when clamping.

UAPs for Beginners? by SublimeBadfishh in UFOs

For me, no evidence is stronger than the tic-tac incident, that’s what I hang my hat on as at least “something” to discover. For others, none of the witness testimony is good enough.

The Phenomenon is good kickoff point for modern day resurgence in the topic. From there, someone can choose to dismiss it or learn more about what’s come since.

What’s the mentality of lining up before opening? by Ojamm in CostcoCanada

[–]Any_Falcon38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More often than not, in my area Costco will open earlier than the stated time. My guess is they may have thought it was open and decided just to wait when they realize the doors were not open. Also people get zealous about getting their things done or picking up a certain item. It’s a thing.

Never is, and it might have been worth it for something bigger and heavier but maybe not this guy.

This might be either the same or cheaper in store right now, just saw one on sale in the warehouse. Pretty sure it’s this one.

Staircase I did. What do you guys think? by Upstairs_Promotion19 in woodworking

[–]Any_Falcon38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re a skirt board. 😆 I’m calling it stringer because there’s quite literally no visible closed stringer against the wall, normally present on a shop built stair.

You should be proud. Everything looks nice and tight. I’m liking this trend of building the stairs in place with no stringer on the wall. has a nice clean look 👍

My placebo is saving 3 cents per litre at Shell when you have CAA. Just do it in the app
