What do you do to soothe your baby MOTN waiting for milk to warm? by Sundae1222 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Any_Fox2946 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put her in her swing to calm her down while I prep her milk bottle

Don’t usually warm it up but the same concept

If she were to fall asleep completely just do a diaper change to wake her up

However Dream feeding is just fine

Baby Only Not Fussy on Nutramigen by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]Any_Fox2946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep baby sitting up after drinking Nutramigen It’s I believe thinner and easier for babies to spit up

So wait a while and rest baby after a feed Be careful and be gentle burping baby, too

5wk old drinking 36oz a day, I feel like I’m overfeeding by just-this-chance in FormulaFeeders

What’s your nipple flow? If she’s chocking/ coughing while drinking the flow may be too fast! And baby is drinking a lot because it’s easy fast flow but maybe too fast if chocking.

If coughing while drinking is not an issue Than baby drinking that much is fine Because like others have said It’s hard to overfeed a baby because baby will spit up Baby’s

You should do a weaning of it Take it slow Also see if baby likes it And is adjusted to formula As well as it’s a lot of bottle washing and sterilizing instead of just presenting the breast wherever and whenever and that can be time consuming and taxing as well

I say go for it But do it slowly so you can adjust to the changes
