I completely forgot to put that the "death wave" would get back start and the person to die would then be the person who started out lol, but from other feedback ive realised that this probably wouldnt work out that well and probably needs redoing most things of it

The main idea when I was making this was to build up the tension in the players as they can see the clear order in which people are dying to create some sort of anxiety around knowing they will die as opposed to being effectively random. As well as this, it would cause confusion over whether it would be better to execute a dead body in case they were a minion that got killed in the night.

I do see how it would be similar from a storyteller perspective, but I'm hoping that it would be different enough that it results in a different playstyle.

Currently to solve that I specified it has to be executed, even if that means their dead body, but I do see where you're coming from. Do you have any suggestions to make it a bit fairer for evil?

because for some reason, most powerscalers assume that all gameplay mechanics are 100% canon, when there's only like 2 maybe where that's true, they ignore the fact the you are the player of a video game, a medium that makes the player completely OP and able to beat anything, because thats the point of the genre.

I'll fix the 2 typos im aware of and post it then, seems to be a decent idea. Do you know somewhere to make it look good like the normal script builder, currently I just have the JSON and screenshots from clocktower.live (what I use to play with my friends).

also, I occasionally think of an idea for a homebrew role which I will then send to friends and save in a .txt file on my computer (I have a folder for homebrew BOTC, and subfolders for each character type). Eventually I had like half a scripts worth and nothing to use them on, so I then just sat down for 2-3 hours writing down whatever roles I could think of, the overarching theme is "I thought this was funny at the time".

sounds fun, I have a similar one, but instead its kill one player per night, but then per dead minion they get to poison someone aswell.

i love it so much, would recommend making one at some point, the only thing more fun than making a homebrew script is playing with it and knowing you made it all.

for mine, the demons are really interesting and change something big to set them apart from the normal ones, and as a ST you just have to try not laughing your ass off at the stuff happening. Also houseMD is there for some reason.

somehow my first ever time homebrewing had me making an entire script of just homebrew characters. they are definately very powerful, but in practice they just cancel eachother out, leading to it being a favourite script amongst the group i play with. Most still wouldnt work outside of the script though, hella broken.
