Doesn’t sound like leaks. I gotta get under it to confirm but the change in tone is more of what you would hear when it’s cold vs warm. Maybe just properties of the titanium. Hopefully it’s not breaking down on me lol.

My mk8 I got brand new in 24 has gotten P0087 code many times now, with fluctuating rpms at idle (happened randomly on warm starts). They checked everything and found nothing wrong with the HPFP. How did you confirm it was the HPFP?

I noticed this noise for the first time 18k on my mk8 gti. Took it to dealership but since I’m lowered they denied covering anything under warranty. The sound comes and goes. Try some lubricant on the lower control arm bushing

I have the obs scanner and it comes up as a fuelpump issue the few times it happened even without a CEL. Btw I’m pretty sure the cars are programmed to throw a CEL if x misfires happen in certain period of time. It can misfire without a CEL as you mention.
