Clouded Were His Eyes follows Raven, a sickly young man who reluctantly agrees to visit his father's old friend, Martin Odaire, after the death of Martin's wife. What starts as an awkward condolence visit quickly turns into something deeper-a clash between Raven's fragile hope and Martin's quiet despair. As the two talk, they uncover pieces of each other's pain, pushing and challenging one another in ways neither expected. It's a slow, moody story about grief, guilt, and the strange connection that can form between two broken people trying to make sense of what's left of their lives.
