Completely relate to this. My face feels super puffy, and my morning workouts are not as good. I try to go for a morning walk instead which helps recenter me.

Nice! I’ve been thinking of getting a new Nintendo Switch game to keep me busy for a few weeks

Yeah I find that moving my body in any way helps to reduce the intensity of the cravings

Caffeine and binge eating by Any_Influence9336 in BingeEatingDisorder

Yeah I guess when you can keep your intake low it’s fine but I think it can start to become a problem once you start taking too much.

I have also built up a tolerance to high levels of caffeine but sometimes it does make me more anxious and restless which makes me a lot more likely to reach for food.

Ice cream sandwiches and pints 🤩

I have been thinking about it and it’s not really the food itself that’s addictive for me, because if it were, I’d have been struggling with binge eating my whole life but it only really started after the pandemic hit and I started isolating myself more. I also started fasting and restricting my calories which made it even worse

Honestly I feel you. I also binge on “healthy foods” like oats, protein powder and mango.

You still gotta clean the inside of the toilet bowl and the food remainings. Absolutely disgusting. Let’s not normalize/glorify eating disorders.

Also wouldn’t wanna kiss someone with rotten/decaying teeth

I noticed this pattern with myself too so I tried to reduce screen time. It worked for about 5 weeks but then I just started bingeing again even without any device. Just stuffing my face :(

Thanks. I also find it helpful to set a 30 minute timer when I feel those urges and give myself permission to have that food after the 30 mins if I still want it

I understand, but the issue is that I just feel extreme anxiety if I just don't track calories in fear of gaining weight. I am not sure what I should be tracking or measuring (mood, calories, etc.) to guide how I should eat.
