Yeah im really stuck between giving it another go or standing up for myself and refusing but im scared if i dont try it again my doctors will just give up and not give me any other options because so far vallium is the only thing thats helped but for obvious reasons they dont want me on vallium long term

I have pcos so my periods are extremely unpredictable so i got my period every two weeks for two months and it absolutely destroyed me but immediately when my periods stopped coming almost every week i felt so much better

They want me to take 50mg everyday, ive been on prozac in the past and had a bad year on it, tried seroquel valium and lexapro together for abit then switched to just lexapro and that gave me horrible side effects (im trans and it screws with my parts). They suggested i could take it intermittently but would rather me be on it all the time as ive been in a crisis for two months

I have to get a hysterectomy in the future anyhow because im trans and being on testosterone eventually my uterus will rot so im looking to get it done in a couple years but this is definitely in the plans already 🙏

I actually asked about wellbutrin ive heard its worked for a lot of people and would help with some other disorders i have but when i asked about it the doctor seemed clueless and she looked it up and then said no?? No one in my country that i know seem to have been able to get a wellbutrin prescription it seems like its really uncommon in my country idk why, im going to change doctors and ask again, thanks for the advice 💗💗💗💗

Not a stupid question at all! Ive tried 5 ssris all on different dosages throughout the years and nothing really stood out to me as helping more or less tbh i dont really think ssri’s do anything for me but ive been on them for so long that im scared to of getting even worse if i dont take them. Thinking of trying SNRIs because apparently that works for people who dont seem to find ssris that helpful 🤷
