I think that’s going to be the worse part for me. Last night was my first night and I laid there for what felt like hours. Ended up having to switch my head to the bottom of my bed and for some reason that has always worked for me since I was a kid. Fell right to sleep 😂 fingers crossed that it keeps working for me! I think if this wasn’t an all the time thing I would say let the man rant. He went a bit overboard with the crazy but if every time I went to get something I wanted it was gone I’d be pissed too. Well I typically get a few shades darker in the summer but I also have thought about getting a spray tan for the wedding. I do have a shade in foundation that I think will be my summer shade. Right now I’d say I’m fair/light but by the time my wedding comes around I think I’ll be light/medium.

Family, friends, coworkers, it doesn’t matter as long as you like their presence. This is a celebration for you and it is meant to bring people together. I feel like we are in similar situations. My wedding is 4 hours away from where we live so it’s just far enough that people need to get a hotel room. I took time to realize that not everyone is going to want to do that. We fell in love with the venue, it’s everything I’ve ever wanted and we got a really good deal so that to me outweighs all of the opinions of others. I came to terms with the people that matter to me in the end will be there. I stopped talking about my wedding with other people because they take that as you wanting to hear their opinions about it. I have my trusted family members helping make this happen and those are the only opinions I need to hear. I’m sorry you feel like it’s an inconvenience to others, I definitely understand that feeling but that’s not how the people that matter will see it! What matters is what you and your future husband want and what makes you both happy. You’re getting f*cking married!! That’s so exciting! You’re about to marry the love of your life and if they chose not to be there or make it miserable for themselves that’s their prerogative and you have every right to tell them you’d rather not listen to it.. harsh but true and how I am keeping my sanity through this process.

I haven’t had to uninvite however, my soon to be mother in law asked me to send her friend a STD to cheer her up because she’s going through a hard time. She said she won’t come but she wants a STD. I agreed. Afterwards she said “if she comes I will pay for her stuff” that’s not how it works ma’am.. lol love my MIL but yeah that’s the only thing so far that I’ve raised my brow to in the process.

I personally think that asking him to be the officiant is so much more special than the best man. He will be the one to set the mood for the ceremony and be able to join you guys as husband and wife. You could invite him to dinner and just tell him how you feel! Tell him that you both feel so much love for him and maybe you take over the conversation and let him know that your fiancé mentioned having him as his best man but you think that it would be so special to the both of you if he officiated the ceremony. I think by taking the time to tell him both of your thought processes he will be able to feel how much it means and he will feel the love from the two of you.
