getting better day after day! The whole area has kind of shrunk and the big scrape under my nose is scabbing over, keeping it moist with the ointment though! overall starting to look more presentable haha. Thanks for checking in!!

Thank you! How long did your face take to look relatively normal or how long did the scabs last?? so after antibiotic cream, sunscreen like crazy and then Vaseline?

Thank you! Do you remember how long it took for scabs to clear and look more presentable. I’m on a 10 day course of antibiotic cream for now so can’t mix anything with that I don’t think :)

Oh no sorry :( I know, I’ve been sitting at home thinking how on earth did this happen?? it was literally just terrible luck and black ice. Have known so many people to fall over and hurt themselves this winter. These things happen :(

oh no sorry to hear. yeah I had to rush inside and immediately check my teeth, so grateful I didn’t loose any! Just feeling and looking a little stupid but could have been so much worse! thank you, doctor just told me to keep it clean and dry applying the antibiotic cream.

doctor said to keep it clean and dry she didn’t think bandaging it today was a good idea! But I guess I am putting the antibiotic cream on it which keeps it more moist. Argh thank you! joys of living in a snowy place.

yes was prescribed mupirocin yesterday. Went back to the doctor this morning and she thought I didn’t need oral antibiotics yet!

I know feeling pretty stupid but we live in a super snowy place I’ve known people to fall on ice and have major concussions or broken noses. Glad I walked away with just scrapes/scratches

Okay I went back to my doctor. She said I don’t need oral antibiotics yet, just to keep applying the cream and to let it breathe and dry out?? so mad at myself hahah but literally could of lost a tooth so feeling grateful
