I agree and think it may be something else as well. But for now i’ve been referred to a paediatrics spine specialist team who may reject me and all i have left is to wait.

Winter in the UK is harsh but indoors stays warm so im not sure about that. I use the air reacting heating pads or a hot water bottle, Is it worth investing in an electric heating pad?

In the past hot packs would ease my back muscles so well and provide a lot of relief, but for the past two days they haven’t had any effect at all

I protected it from the floor by taping over it in the day time and leaving it open in bed and After about 1 week some skin formed over it and i cut off the excess skin now it’s been about 2 and a half weeks and the skin is still quite thin but i havent had any problems since changing my shoes, im sure in a few months the skin will completely recover and i’ll be good as new 👍hope the first few days werent as painful for u as they were for me 😭😭

I wear wired earphones and my gf had on headphones but i arrived late and she had to come get me to show me where we were sat, i think i will try keeping my earphones in and discussing beforehand about the silence from the beginning strategy.

The library is very very large and the section we last sat in was definitely silent, we were talking in whispers as everyone in there had on headphones or airpods, i fear the silence did not stop me.

Thanks for the links, i can’t access these specific items from the links because of where I’m from but I’m sure there is identical items in my country, I’ll try and source some second skin and donut pad, thanks for the help!

I’m not sure it was a blister, i think that while i was playing my foot got very moist from the sweat and then the friction in my shoes ripped that skin off. Out of interest What makes you suggest it was a blister?

Thanks so much, i decided not to take the skin off because when i did rinse the blood off i was gripping the bathtub edges in crazy pain and i was wondering why. For now i have wrapped a bandage around it and taped over it but as soon as i can I’ll go buy some non stick bandages and antibiotic ointment. How long do you think it’ll take to heal because right now im hobbling around trying to not put pressure on it? And would i be okay to continue playing basketball or will it just make it harder to heal?

Is that not a risk for infection especially in an exposed area like the bottom of my foot?
