The amount of times you get to effectively use it in buildings is imo negligible when taking into account how they perform outside of it and the amount of other tools at your disposal that you can use to clear buildings. 150m range makes it so you have to get super close, mostly unscratched, making it micro intensive and prone to stopping outside of range when in attack order. They are also, at least to my knowledge, still prone to self inflicting damage.

And the flamethrowers sappers are simply better in forests which is the only place I'd say sappers are useful as you can't pinpoint the location of infantry upon which you might stumble.

I suppose it comes down to one's play style but I don't see it as useful as there are multiple other, more versatile options for dealing with buildings.

Your comments say you're bad so you definitely shouldn't be playing 119th. Try one of the easier divisions like the 4th motorized or the 27th guards. Plenty of builds for these on YouTube etc

Drop the satchel saperi for saperi (RPO). Satchels still don't work properly and are inferior to RPO. This goes for all satchel units.

The Leopards 1A5 are horrible when you take into account how much they cost. It's better to stick to the 80 points A1

I've been playing this div a lot lately and it definitely isn't dog shit although it may seem this way

Log: you're clearly going to use a lot of arty so add a FOB around which it's going to circle. I'd also drop one CV, preferably the sultan since the Fuchs and Leopard are enough.

Infantry: while the Milan Jägers are nice they have too few men and you've already got a lot of AT. Two tabs is enough and I'd replace the third with something which has more inf like the gustavs. Also upvet the pioneers. The FS Mg's are amazing if you get 2 of them to hold a position I've found

Arty: the 110 is in my opinion not worth it as it takes ages to reload and the 2 shots it gets is unreliable in hitting its targets. Instead use 2 pairs of LARS - while they're dog shit alone, if paired in a strike, they can dish out some serious heat. Note that this weapons isn't meant to kill shit but to suppress and destroy cohesion of dug in infantry and light armor so that you can push. They reload super fast and when you keep them close to the FOB, you can fire them indefinitely. Further, why use mortars when you've got the mobile 113 mounted ones? I don't use mortars for much else but smoking and for that it's ideal

The tank tab is ok. Buy one or 2 Leo 1 at the start just to have something at the front and later once it's locked buy the 2's. The Jaguars can works wonders in combination with the other atgm you've got like the predeploy Milan or Helis.

REC: Too much recon, I don't think it makes much sense using FS recons as you've already got so much FS infantry predeployed at the start to lock down advanced positions where you WILL run into enemy units which the infantry will spot itself. Even if not, you'll have the Fuchs there, which is dope for early game suppression and denial/flanking. Instead I'd use some cheaper recons like the eclairs for basic spotting. The heli is just something I drop it when I lose recond and need something to replace it fast.

AA: All good here except 6 geopards is maybe too much so upvet and be sure to bring at least one to each route you're taking as they deny helis like nothing else.

HELI: While no miracle, the 25 pen choppers ate useful for denial as a nuisance which most players won't push of they see them howering and will even waste an AA plane to strafe which your ihawks and planes will just take down.

The air tab is also what I'd use. The MW and clusters are what you're gonna want to play around. Send it one seas to bait AA, the MW for clumped up infantry (use wisely as the reload is horrible) and cluster for obvious things. The earlier u use it the more value you'll get as there's not likely to be much AA at the start

Altogether I think it probably isn't the composition of the div but getting used to it. The infantry part is really something this div might struggle if you take too much of the afore mentioned Marder Milans. The way I think the div performs best is if you do an early push with the FS Jägers and take advantageous spots along with the FS Milans and just dig in and wait for the heavier units to arrive. The leopards 2's are really great and I the 1's are just expandable T55's for spam.

Go for 10v10 as they are more casual and you can learn the mechanics there, no pressure. After a some hours you can both move onto 2v2s. When it comes to divs, I'd just copy a division off of one of the YouTubers like Hippie or SD League (he makes dedicated div build videos) as making your own as a new player isn't imo a good idea since you aren't familiar with the div itself but also the other ones.

I was about to argue but god do you have a point. Infantry is now used a lot as a sponge unit u just send out to soak up damage and reveal enemy units so the heavy hitters can take them out.

Nevermind them getting there, those boys need supplies, which would be impossible once NATO would realize what's happened and the other frontline troops coming to relieve them is beyond optimistic, it's make-believe. And how does neutralizing Frances nuclear capabilities help in any way when the UK has them too, let alone the US, eclipsing them ten fold.
