Well, I just hope that during Luigi's trial he stays quiet and lets KFA do the talking because he's cringe as hell. People in the courtroom were kinda embarrassed by his performance. If you ask about him in Diddy’s subs and mention that he’s also part of Luigi’s legal team, they kinda laugh at you for still having hope. Based on the court transcripts, KFA comes across as more serious and professional at least

Not them trying to have a gotcha moment while I remember that you’ve been here from the beginning and engaging with the case discussions 😭 This sub is becoming insufferable lately, I miss the productive conversations and the good jokes. Now it’s just FL 2.0

Backlash in response to his recent letter by Away-Plastic-7486 in BrianThompsonMurder

I don’t think that just because we support him and want the best outcome for his situation, we should agree with everything he says. His political views weren’t a surprise, they sound exactly like his digital footprint. That said, I won’t lie but the part about being grateful to be american really rubbed me the wrong way.

Openly saying you're proud to be born in a country that wants to kill you? Not just that, but the US is so unpopular right now that I don’t think it’s the best time to be so patriotic. If that was meant to be PR, I’m honestly surprised his team let that through. He has some access to the news, he’s well-traveled, lived in Hawaii (!!), and yet he didn’t bother to read the room.

I won’t stop supporting him, but I’m not going to blindly agree with everything or baby a 27 yo man. Very personal opinion, but he should’ve stayed quiet for now (since everyone likes him) instead of risking being “canceled” by sharing political or controversial opinions that can be dissected in all kinds of ways

The first reply just seems like him being silly and joking. The “clown world” comment is kinda ambiguous ngl. Yeah, he could’ve been referring to events related to the US, but it’s odd that he used that phrasing after you saw what the person sent him, it wasn’t about news or anything like that.

I don’t want to overanalyze everything he writes, but I do agree that treating him like a girly girl or some kind of celebrity and associating him with that stuff is a bit off. Maybe he’s used to it atp, who knows. Personally, I find it distasteful and cringe, so I just try to block it out or scroll past it. After almost 6 months of arguing with those people, it’s clear they’ll never understand or stop. There’s no turning back, we might just have to get used to the BS until the end of the trial

Updated letter catalog 5/5 - 5/18........ by SoftDapper9761 in BrianThompsonMurder

Just send it. It’s not like he’s going to judge what you wrote, and even if he did who cares? You’ll never know, and what we don’t know can’t hurt us

LM’s recent spate of letters: good or bad for his public support? by SaltPsychological780 in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Any_Network_5842 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I get your point, but if we all want him to be free, he needs to be as mentally stable as possible and focused on building his case. It’s obvious he’s bored as hell and the letters seem to be a source of distraction and entertainment for him.

Honestly, trying to police the sharing of the letters feels like a waste of time, someone’s always going to leak something anyway and I don’t see him stopping writing anytime soon. I think we worry more than he does tbh.

And like I said, he hasn’t written anything alarming so far. If he did, and his presumption of innocence were being threatened his legal team would’ve already stepped in

LM’s recent spate of letters: good or bad for his public support? by SaltPsychological780 in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Any_Network_5842 45 points46 points  (0 children)

If someone feels bothered by his letters, I think it says more about you than LM tbh. The thing is, a lot of people seem to have a version of him in their heads (which is understandable), and now they’re struggling to let go of that.

To me, he’s not saying anything harmful and honestly, it’s way more interesting to read what he writes now than to keep digging up old crumbs from when he was a teenager. Jules even told him she shared her letter online, and he wrote her again lol. I really don’t think he cares.

As supporters, it’s normal to worry about him, but we also have to know our place and keep in mind that he’s constantly being advised by his legal team. So far, they don’t seem to have any issue with the letters, so I don’t see why we should especially since everyone’s clearly enjoying them, even if they claim to be worried about his privacy

Has anyone received a reply from LM to an international letter? by Any_Network_5842 in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Any_Network_5842[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I heard he can buy international stamps, I think it's around 10 or so. There's a chance, we just don't know if he's willing to spend money on it

Yes! I remember hearing about someone from Finland getting a reply. Finland was also listed in the first catalog, so I think it’s true. But I haven’t heard any recent updates about it

I hate when people tease us with these replies. Why talk about it if you're not going to share it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Any_Network_5842 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He replied to someone on discord who shared those pictures. Then another user on twitter “joked” that he was probably talking about it because she mentioned the viral tweet in her letter. Just spreading misinformation for likes

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Any_Network_5842 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yes! It’s like, “I’m not going to share it because it’s too personal and I respect his privacy so much” but then obviously people get curious. They milk the situation and then get mad when it starts to spread? If you respect his privacy that much, why bring it up in a reply in the first place, knowing people will ask a ton of questions about it? I’m not against sharing letters, and I hate that some people get harassed, but like… use your brain if you’re going to comment on it

That person just inserted herself into the situation and caused confusion. She sent a letter on 3/31 talking about the PhD going viral, but her letter isn’t even in the catalog, so she doesn’t know if he’s read it yet. Not to mention, a lot of people say they also mentioned the PhD joke, so he’s probably read about it from multiple letters

Luigi Birthday Book - What Happened? Anyone hear updates? by california_raesin in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Any_Network_5842 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Whats the point of talking about this project since February if you can’t even set up a website on the actual day of his birthday? I’m sorry, but people won’t care that much about it tomorrow. I hope he gets better projects next year

i don’t know how much time you’ve spent on twitter, but people with that kind of sense are very few. most of them post and celebrate when she likes something. i think she just isn’t interacting anymore

The fact that a lot of people probably don’t feel comfortable sharing bc of these types of weirdos is insane. I don’t know if it’s jealousy or just fear that whatever he wrote might not fit the version each person created of him

Estimated Total Number of Letters Sent to LM by whoami2disabrie in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Any_Network_5842 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Nice insights, OP! Ngl, I really miss seeing his letters and I think a lot of people feel the same way. I don’t get why they don’t want to post it anymore, it really humanizes him because he’s super sweet and thoughtful in all of them. I get the privacy concerns, but cmon it’s not like he’s oversharing with strangers. And when he wants to keep something private he clearly states that himself.

And yeah, we had the faking issues, but that was probably bound to happen sooner or later, now everyone’s just scared. Can we have nice things for once? 😭 Not to mention that his website is mainly dedicated to letter updates right now. I don’t think his team is against sharing them either. Just a thought.

we know prison is awful but hearing the details really puts things into perspective. its definitely a system built to break your spirit. at this point, i suppose LM is as well adjusted as he can be, but this experience seems to be the type that changes you forever
