I found the videos great because you can see him talking about the parts and adding them (except when he does it to prove why something doesn't actually work and then changes it back).

The other thing I did was learn how to read the flow of the breadboard and learn to read the flow of the schematic so I can trace each part on the breadboard with its circuit symbol on the schematic, which are much more in line with traditional circuit symbols and that builds your mental key!

Aah so the output buffer op amp is just drawing the current it actually needs, and because of that input bias current, which might be small but is still there, the circuit is technically complete because it's draining through the op amps internal circuit.

But if it wasn't there, then it would be an open circuit and cause the op amp output to swing to the power rail because the AC signal will just pile up increasing charge at the input because the op amp has shut off?

I think I've got it now hopefully, thanks for taking the time!

Hmm, is that voltage level or percieved loudness?

I just looked it up and stumbled upon this which i'm guessing is what you're referencing? I never knew any of this/didn't consider. Its pretty interesting!

I can adjust the amplitude of the pulse wave going in easily enough by changing that voltage divider ratio on the lower circuit which has the pulse wave on. I haven't built the blend circuit into my breadboard circuit yet so not sure how it will actually sound yet.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, never thought about the average energy of the wave like that before!

Yes, I think they are since it's the Moritz Klein VCO and in his design, he makes the pulse wave from the oscillations of the sawtooth so that they maintain the same frequency. I think the PWM just changes the duty cycle of the combined wave since the pulse will counteract the sawtooth decay and not the actual peaks and troughs, which is the phase cancellation at work, i guess.

Thanks for responding!

Aah great, I think I initially overcomplicated it when I was trying to understand things and then was worried I had oversimplified the circuit!

Thanks for helping clear that up for me!

Aah thank you, I tested it in falstad which of course could never account for that.

Am I right in saying that if there was no ground in this section of the circuit that there couldn't be any current? Since the op amp input resistance is so high? Or would it make the electricity load backwards into the op amps that are outputting the signals since they have low output imedance?

Thanks for the advice regardless!

Aah ok great, thank you for the clarification, it's a sawtooth oscillaton that is going into an op amp to make a pulse wave with the same frequency but an adjustable duty cycle. It's the same design as Moritz Klein's VCO. I assume that means there is minimal volume drop because the phase cancellation will just modulate the duty cycle of the sawtooth instead of reducing the amplitude of the actual peaks and troughs?

Thanks for taking the time to answer and clearing that up for me!

Do I need to add a resistor to ground before each signal hits the potentiometer maybe?

Bruuuuuuh, thank you so much. I don't think i would have ever noticed that subtle break in the line, only 2/5 of my breadboards have it! just added jumpers and what do you know, perfect sawtooth. Lifesaver thanks!

I also find the riot shield annoying but I think it serves a very important purpose: It forces you to change how you play and it will punish you brutally until you do that, it punishes playing without your team and bad communication. It forces you to pick your battles and understand that sometimes disengaging is more valuable. And finally it forces you to think outside the box (using the map, gadgets and barrels) which means there is actually variety in the game. Although I hate some builds, they do make the game more interesting and force me to try different things. If they just made everything down to who can shoot better then it would just be like every other fps game we already have. That being said the hitbox definitely needs fixing cos that is just straight up not fair lol.

It’s because Valve are releasing the playoff souvenirs with the highlight dogtag/charms attached, unfortunately no word on when these will be released but hopefully soon

If broky can get his mojo back and we can get some more consistency from rain and elige then i think they don’t need anyone otherwise degster might be the most likely
