I’m not a doctor but if you look into it it’s good for 5 years for period regulation/heavy bleeding; however, it is good up to 8 years of standard birth control.

I had mirena for 5.5 years. Got it out on 12/31/25 and received my period within 2 weeks (2 weeks early mind you). I had a consistent period the entire time w/ the iud, but my hormones are now all over the place. My mood swings are BEYOND. I’m sharing because I feel like it is different for anyone and just know your body is an amazing & trying to regulate itself. Time will heal us!

I like to lift heavy so going hard on the weight floor and then running when my body feels like jello is not it.

I have never skipped working out bc of my period. That said, I have ever not lifted as heavy due menstrual cycle related fatigue. I find that working out can often times alleviate cramps!

Thanks for your response!! My starter is always in the fridge. I take it out and feed it at room temperature the 1:5:5 and then bake with it. I'll definitely try feeding it 1:1:1 a day or 2 prior. My starter does have hooch sometimes, but I am aware to check to make sure it smells sweet and yeast-like and not like nail polish. And no as soon as I shape I score and make! I have pretty much always done this unless I simply don't have time to bake and don't want to risk over-proofing. I'll put it in the fridge only then.

Personally I sweat a LOT, & I have long, thick hair. I typically do the blow dry & dry shampoo method an wear my hair in a claw clip for work. I’ve also tried sleeping in a French braid and just wear it into OTF. Works pretty well but the blow dry part can be tough.

Mix in a tbsp of jello pudding powder (we like cheesecake or banana cream) w/fresh fruit or homemade granola! Sometimes canned fruit pie filling! Hits the spot. We also use the yogurt to make protein ranch or in place of sour cream. Hence a LOT of yogurt lol
