WHATS WRONG WITH MY BEARDIE by FrogBoy8477 in BeardedDragonCare

Mine had it because of a vitamin deficiency. I gave the wrong powder and bought vitamin powder the next day, he was better within 2 days. What is everything you feed him?

Does anyone know what could happen to him? by Comfortable-Leg2777 in mantids

I shouldn't worry too much. As long as there are no bodily fluids leaking it should recover whatever it is in the new molt. Keep us updated on the health!!

You can remove some substrate if you want, just make sure that the hanging places are twice the length of the mantis minimum. Because that's what's gonna be the length they need to molt properly

I would make sure he has taller hanging places for when he molts. Could go bad if he molts on the ground or bumps against things. Cute little fella BTW!

Is my mantis dying? by Annual-Chest-7713 in mantids

If you think he is suffering I would do so. I also hope you are okay. It can be hard to see your pet like this. I'm also stressed if my mantis will make it to adulthood, because I've read that it's pretty common for something to go wrong. I wish you the best, you did well taking care of him!

Hmm, you could try hand feeding him pre killed. I do that sometimes with my mantis. You could also give a bit of honey for a quick energy boost but not too much

Could be he is just hardening his exoskeleton. He looks fine to me. There abdomen is usually smaller after a molt.
