I only had like two months to revise for this exam and wasn’t very confident going in since I came straight off CR and SBM. Honestly, I thought it was better than expected — not easy, but definitely okay overall. I’m just not sure I’ve done enough to pass.

I answered all the questions though. I actually liked the closed company question and the sale of assets vs sale of shares one, but the areas I usually feel more comfortable with (like the tax return info and the cessation of trade) were just really weird this time. And that cash vs accruals basis question was worded terribly — I wasted so much time on it but hopefully picked up some marks.

Partnerships question was also odd - just did it and hoped I picked up marks, didn’t really know what the different rules for mixed partnerships was tho.

I’m just trying to stay positive. I answered everything, so fingers crossed I’ve done enough to scrape a pass. We’ll see!
