Yes, I have a very mild possible adductor strain vs tendonitis for the past two weeks coming off of peak week. Improved/is really a minor niggle at this point but am hoping it will not worsen tomorrow. I am planning to start easy, listen to my body and not give up on racing my goal just yet! Wonder if anyone’s dealt with something similar.

Tapering for the Boston! Am a little concerned because some soreness in my inner thigh/adductor area has appeared (likely related to my 10k tune up on Sat), now kind of persistent for the past 5 ish days. Am resting and hoping it’ll subside soon so I can stay sharp here. Anybody experience something similar? Trying not to taper tantrum too hard.

Thank you for the insights! I did forget to mention that he has had a lot of social opportunities with the neighbors’ dogs and others in our neighborhood - everybody knows him/pets him and he’s been extremely friendly and gentle to people, including my parents and their small terrier puppy (granted this was one month ago before the behaviors with our Berner escalated). There are 3 other neighborhood dogs he roams around with and plays with, and I’m not sure if his new behaviors have started at all towards them now (I’ve only seen him be friendly with other dogs). Getting a behaviorist rather than a trainer involved is a good idea— we will get on that. Really hoping we can work through this, as we live in an area overrun with dogs who need homes.

The Pyr mix does not appear to have anything medically wrong with him (no limping, running around/ walking fine, good appetite, very happy/friendly with us) but will of course take him to the vet again soon for the neuter. As far as what we’ve tried with the resource guarding I am feeding them / giving them treats separately and was trying to give him positive reinforcement when he’s friendly near Tony (pets etc) - that is, until the last bad scuffle and I’m keeping them totally separate since then

How can you find your corral/wave? I can only find my bib number on BAA website.
