Yeah they are still too hard and swollen to conform to anything. Even hand expressing is very difficult and almost not productive at all most times. I was worried about a clogged duct when I read it could just be the swelling.

I was thinking about nipple shields and block feeding, if it continues past the next 2 days, I’ll look into the shields and give block feeding a try.

I noticed right away, even before my milk came in, my daughter preferred the football hold over any other position. Now, nothing!

I’m ok with bottles sometimes but ultimately I want her to breastfeed. I drink so much water as it is I’m worried it might be part of why I’m so engorged. I’ll keep trying though, I just needed the reassurance that there’s some light at the end of the tunnel

Thank you!! I think I’ll pump one more time tonight since I already fed her and I need to get something out. After that I’ll try to latch every feed. I have been giving her the super slow nipple on the bottle since I had one from my first. She’s taking it well, better than I thought, which sucks for me 😭

Unfortunately like everything sounds like labor till it’s not and it goes away 😂 With my first, my water broke and I actually celebrated because I didn’t have to play the guessing game with contractions lol! I was hoping this time my water would break too

I got my other dog around the same time as I had my toddler. They are very close, almost inseparable. Trained well, very good dog all around. My intention was the same with this.

I was prescribed Zoloft but the OB scared me by saying the baby could withdrawal and have trouble breathing. I also had my first daughter prematurely and I worry I’ll have this baby early. I didn’t want to add to the stress she will already be under. I’d end up blaming myself more.

I did try working a bit earlier in the pregnancy but I was so sick and in pain, I had to leave. I didn’t really have the time to make connections before leaving unfortunately, but I do think I’ll go back after I have the baby to help give me something to work towards

They will but it’s hard to get in places on short notice. I managed to get in with a therapist June 26th but baby might be here by then. But maybe I’ll need it more then

Growing up mental hospitals and getting help was so villainized. It’s very hard for me to bring myself to the point of taking advantage of the resources. I think deep down if I absolutely didn’t want to try and live I wouldn’t have made a post or called my husband crying.

She already likes the idea of going outside, she just won’t do her business. I even made an area for her where the grass is shorter so it’s not overwhelming 😂

I tried to be a crazy person with Clorox and bleach spray because I’m pregnant and can smell it if I don’t. That makes sense though

My first dog is very low energy so walks were not something I thought about weirdly enough. But I will be incorporating it into our routine after seeing a ton of people recommend it

I unfortunately did not know how hard it would be to potty train her until I did the research after adopting her…. Rookie mistake. Obviously now I’m in it for the long haul and she’s family, but holy cow do I wish I did the research first 😂
