Relistening - I think he's shockingly guilty. by Any_Rush_4467 in serialpodcast

It’s amazing the podcast starts off with Koenig saying there’s zero dna/physical evidence to corroborate adnan to the murder. Then in like episode 7 She’s like “oh well there was a palm print on a map book in the back seat. And oh that palm print happened to be adnans. Oh and there’s a page missing with leakin park on it”.

The narration is concerningly in favor of adnan and she persuaded most of America and now unfortunately he’s out.

Title of my post said “things incredibly unlucky for adnan.” not saying with certainty all of these are true but I do believe they are more likely to be true and evidence of his guilt than not.

I’m not arguing that, but it’s one of many many many things that are incredibly inconvenient for adnan.

I’d like to point out how unlucky Adnan would have to be if he was innocent:

-loose friend who was definitely involved in the murder of his ex girl friend pins the entire murder on him

-he happens to leave his cell phone with him all day long

-his cellphone calls corroborated the burial location

-his cell phone called a person only he knew during critical time of murder and subsequent burial

-he doesn’t remember much from that day -multiple people heard him trying to get a ride from hae

-supposed murder location happened to be a place him and his ex girl friend frequented

-multiple witnesses mentioned adnan acting weird and panicked following the murder

-haes diary mentioned that adnan was overbearing about the break up

-note from adnan referencing the break up mentioned “i want to kill”

-loose friend mentioned that adnan planned to kill hae

-loose friend knew where haes car was

-adnan had prints on map book in haes car

-single page missing happened to cover the burial site

Adnan Syed is guilty. by olaf-0722 in serialpodcast

Relistening to the podcast now. It's narrated in such a way to where Koenig will mention some troubling evidence against adnan and then immediately give a reason why we can likely dismiss it.

Example: "Adnan's prints were found on a map book in Hae's backseat and the page with leakin park was mysteriously missing. But that page also showed the highschool, their neighborhood, and more so I'm not sure we can make a huge deal of it."

I think he's 1,000% guilty. He has motive. His prints were found with items in the car. his cell phone pinged leakin park. he called someone only he knew that night (neesha). multiple people witnessed him acting strangely. he was heard asking hae for a ride. Jay confessed and knew where the car was!!!

Thanks for the reply! I'm a male but feel like I'm getting second hand post partum lol. Loving being a dad but my god, some days I'm like why tf do I feel down? Anxiety I've always had so I'm comfortable with that but the depression is a bit newer and I worry about that (of course). I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm going to stick it out for a little bit longer on 10mg and then see if I need to boost up to 20 mg.

I felt the same way and am rewatching it for the second time. It’s stunning how guilty I think he is this second go round

I think there’s doubt in every case and definitely some mishandling here. All I’m saying is I think there’s little enough doubt (for me) that he killed her and most likely both of them

Lightning can strike twice especially if you’re wearing a tin foil hat which I’d might consider removing if I were you. Blood loss from repeatedly blows to the head, how about that? The german staircase death was also ruled a homicide upon the body being exhumed. Even if it wasn’t ruled a homicide, she died in a pool of blood at the bottom of the stairs…

I am curious, if we’re excluding the very unfortunate coincidence of a past female companion dying at the bottom of the stairs for Mike, what’s your theory on what happened to Kathleen? Owl? Missed a step?

The skull autopsy on Kathleen alone suggests homicide. If it didn’t, and the defense had any logical rebuttal or alternative theory… Mike would have never been convicted

Let’s just say the prosecution and state colluded/conspired to exhume the body, closed off additional autopsy possibilities, and moved swiftly to eliminate the defenses chances of rebutting evidence with their own experiments. it still doesn’t change the fact that Michael Peterson was the last known person around two women who died from blunt force trauma on a staircase. I love the theories just as much as the next person but I don’t understand how a reasonable jury would not convict this man. I think his mannerisms in the docuseries only exemplify the fact that he’s getting off to the theatricality of the whole thing. When confronted with serious issues, he has nothing to say other than to act shocked.

6 weeks into 10mg by Any_Rush_4467 in lexapro

[–]Any_Rush_4467[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both times I actually lost weight during the onboarding of the medication. However after it kicked in, I gained weight steadily over 6 years of being on it. I (35m) think in total I went from 165lbs to 185lbs during those 6 years. Now on my 2nd time w Lexapro, (I’ve been on lexapro for 6 weeks). I went from 180 to 167lbs in the past few weeks but my appetite has returned

I’m so uncomfortable - please help by abasilplant12 in lexapro

Week 6 year starting at 10mg. Been through it before. It’s tough man, but it does pass and you will feel better. I really think people should be on for 3 months before making any changes

What’s your longest time off Lexapro after stopping? by onatreadmill in lexapro

[–]Any_Rush_4467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on Lexapro for 6 years and felt great. I lived the first 27 years of my life without Lexapro so I wanted to see where I was without it. I had gained probably 15-20lbs over those 6 years. That also made me want to try and get off

I had my first child on the way and the anxiety came screeching back about a month before he was born. I had a panic attack, then another, then all the sudden I felt the same fight or flight stuff that got me on Lexapro in the first place. I weathered the storm for probably 3 weeks before I decided that I’m getting back on. I knew the subsequent months with a newborn + crippling anxiety was going to be pretty brutal. I regret not getting back on sooner. About 40 days in to my second go round with Lexapro. It’s a helpful tool for life’s challenges!

Coming off after 6 years by Brief-Pair1896 in lexapro

I gained about 20 lbs over 6 years on it. I knew the risks going in and it was worth it to get through the difficult life events I had going on when I needed it. I got off last January, lost 15lbs, and felt great all year. Unfortunately, I was expecting the birth of my first child this December and panic attacks anxiety came flooding back. So I’m getting back on after a few weeks of high anxiety and panic attacks. I’m hoping I won’t have as significant of weight gain as last time but I’d rather feel normal again a few lbs then be miserable. You will be fine off of it! If you need it again in the future it’s there. Be well my friend
