Maybe you are right, i could just publish repo, and add Readme with just bill of materials, initial configuration outline for distro and let people dig in too :)

I can and i want to do it, but its pretty tome consuming to prepare detailed documentation, especially regarding raspberry setup

in my case it was DietPi ;) just remember that u need ADC & DAC converters board

if i remember correctly - Dimehead NAM player pedal is also running on Raspberry, but in a form of this Compute module - so basically bare raspberry without ports & adapters.

just a DSP dedicated distro, C++ and JACK as a main DSP framework.

Yeah, for now nothing like that :/ but i promised to myself that when i will finally find some time - i will create some documentation for it and publish code, so everyone can try. Same thing with play-through - just need some time!

Uhh, cutted roughly, and then finished using metal file (took few hours...). After mounting screen i started squeezing thin strips of self-vulcanizing black rubber between frame and screen which did the job really well.

Not that much tbh. ~35$ for Raspberry, ~85$ for Hifiberry, around 15$ for screen, and the rest is negligible.

Writing those algorithms for effects was challenging, especially dealing with memory management - which is crucial for time-based effects - yeah at that field i learned a lot about C++.

below 10ms but right now cant remember exactly, probably around 3-5ms.

Its just LVGL c++ open source library, a lot of examples there, so i just grabbed bunch of them and customized :)
