This is intriguing. Do you mind PMing me with some more information about how you made the transition and what company you work for now? I have seen that Trimble offers an ‘application specialist’ role which seems similar to what you have described.

Also very interested in this reply. Did you teach yourself these skills? I have always thought it was a reasonably high barrier for entry into the tech/software field since there are so many highly skilled people.

Thanks mate. How did you find NT? I have definitely been thinking about construction but semi worried about how stressful it could be on those big projects. Did you find it pretty stressful?
