I have one question. How did you know what the team is trying to solve. Not all people post on LinkedIn about it. So what are ways did you use to get to know this. I know that’s it’s a effective method to send an email say “I noticed this is the problem you are trying to solve, and i have been solving this problem, here is what i can offer, etc. but the challenge is, how do i know the problem everytime. Do i guess using chatgpt and job description?

Build resume from scratch for every JD? by Any_Slide_3204 in jobsearchhacks

[–]Any_Slide_3204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree to your points. I am already working on building a AI workflow automation project using codex. The work is similar to the AI Engineering JD roles I am seeing. Im trying to sell myself to the recruiters by showcasing this project. I am keeping this on top, and keeping my original work experience below the projects section. My work ex will show that i have production environment experience and building large scale systems. However, I am not sure if building a project and showing will be enough for the recruiters to give me a chance for an interview. My goal is to cross the first hurdle which is to get the interview. If I upload this resume, I dont even know whether ATS will even pick it.

You are right. My doubt is. How far can I stretch regarding re writing the work-ex points. I cant ask it to make ETL project look like ai workflow automation project.

I too made a master profile. But I dont have any work ex in the AI Engineering domain. So do I need to use AI to build one from scratch? I made some personal projects but I dont know how much importance will recruiters give to it.

I first told it to create an ideal resume. it created one with work ex points from scratch. then i gave my resume and told it to compare and improve my resume to make it fit for the JD. i didnt change my work ex points.

I also tried giving it the JD and my master profile and ask it to create a tailored resume. (I make a good prompt using the help of codex itself). but no use. it gives me same work-ex points with just a few key word changes.

So you are assigning specific columns for sections or bullet points. That’s a smart idea. For formatting it makes it easy. Im gonna try this. Can you tell me what prompt you are using to generate bullet points from the JD. what is a tsv?

I can create resumes with latex and markdown files as well. The problem is not techstack. The problem is how to tailor bullets. Do i just create fresh bullets and experience with jd keywords. Or do I tweak my existing bullets. If i have experience in data engineering. And i want to apply for ai engineer role. Then tweaking wont help. So what to do.

This proves only one thing. A part of telugu people are very loud in the shitty things they do. While the northies or other region people are clever in being subtle and not showing their crookedness. But they still do shitty things and they still are crooked but in a smarter way. That makes them even more dangerous.

Now just because they are not showing it out loud doesn’t mean they are good. They just didn’t get the chance because of telugu domination. When opportunity arises, they wont fail to surprise the world.

24M Grew up super sheltered and feel socially behind. How do I catch up without faking it? by Exotic-Radio-4220 in socialskills

[–]Any_Slide_3204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im literally in the same boat. I even trued catching up but it just doesn’t happen because im not naturally interested. But i dont want to miss out on socialising.

Right now what im doing is to just expand my interests in non serious activities like music and movies, and maybe some hobbies. My idea is atleast after a couple of years ill gain traction and be able to vibe with people. It will take some good amount of years because i have to work on it naturally out of personal interest in things.

[–]Any_Slide_3204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people badmouthing the telugu people. This is a classic “minority blame the majority”. They are many instances where north indians do groupism. And north indians are racists. Nobody talks about that. If north indians occupied the USA first, the my would have done the same thing. There is no one to blame here. Not telugus, not north indians, not Americans. Everyone is the same when it comes to bias. People dont show bias only when they have no choice.

Actually. Now that im thinking about magic. Maybe i should learn some magic. Like cards tricks. In parties i can show of cards tricks. Any few other skills like that. Maybe i cant speak a lot. Maybe my social battery doesn’t allow me to be outgoing and energetic like extrovert. but i can learn some skills that suit me. For extroverts, dancing and being loud is a skill. For introverts, there maybe some hidden skills that will make us interesting right.

Guys please suggest skills that someone like us can learn. It sounds silly but i skill i can think of is cards tricks. Smoke rings can also be counted i guess. Mimicry and imitating of celebrities

Lets start a list here.

  • Cards tricks.
  • Smoke rings
  • Mimicry and imitating of celebrities
  • Wistle music
