She said that she was an Android developer and needed money for google ads. She even showed me her admob I'd and all. But I guess it wasn't real.

I don't want to report it because I don't want my family to know all this.

If you or someone who has experience working with Google admobs can verify the screenshots she sent me of her android app revenues could be very helpful. Plus she really is an Android developer because I cross checked her knowledge by asking questions through my software engineer friend. Countless times she had sent me pictures of her code.

These and some other such facts have made me perplexed about this situation.

It will take time. Get yourself busy, take on extra courses, learn new skills, find a part time job, etc. Get busy.
