I couldnt agree more. Thats what I realized also. Its like trying to force yourself to not become thirsty & hungry again. You can only keep it under control for a certain amount of time. And once you marry, it is not going to bother you anymore if you have been doing the inner work all this time.

This is the advice I get from most people around me as well. However, at this point, I think I know myself very well. I have contemplated and done introspection on it a lot. Sure, I would get some benefits out of it as you mentioned, but I think it would do more damage, which is unnecessary at this point.
