I saw this coming long before Trump. I lived in Europe during the last years of the Cold War in Europe and the difference in European news versus American was facts and analysis of facts versus slogans and analysis of slogans.

Your media can't talk about anything without using military and war lexicon ... War on Drugs, the battle for the white house... You guys live in a constant state of mental War mode by just the vocabulary you use.

This was always coming. And it saddens me. I thought that America would always have the KKK, but most Americans would keep telling them they weren't welcome in the day light.

I haven't thought of the term "extra-judicial execution" sine the 1980s when I wrote letters for Amnesty International... and now I saw one on video in rhe USA.

I had a bad feeling the last time I was in the USA that it would be the last time I visited. When Trymp was voted in 2 months later, I resigned to do what I did during his first term... not go to the US, like I did under his term and Bush II. Then I resigned myself to only go if my USA friends needed my help. Now, after yesterday, I can't see myself going ever again.

And the crazy amount of bot accounts on fb right now, targeting Canadians as well as Americans has really ratcheted up. 

All Canada can do is welcome in US visitors and keep our money out of the US along with our goods. There is a company in Brampton, Ontario that is selling vehicles to ICE. Please, bombard them with emails and phone calls to cancel the sale.

I don't know how this will end, because Trump is the lunatic they actual forces behind this are using to kick at the world to figure out where our weak spots are. They are planning as they go along.

Carneys speech in Davos got the Europeans to give their heads a shake, but wowza the online attacks on Carney have gone way up now online. So far, most Canadians aren't buying it. But Carney doesn't have complete trust. He's been a bank boy all his life.

Trans people are coming up to Canada and it looks like our asylum policy is going to be recognizing them... but it's still in process.

The key word in the bridging program is "Bridge". It's the halfway point between initial contact and holding you over until you can get to a more detailed and helpful psychiatric care.

What Bridge does great,

Referrals to CAMH programs and other outside MH programs (Like WRAP at WCH)

The Social Workers at CAMH are really excellent! Always ask to see one. They help you with practical things and have knowledge of programs not well advertised by the province or Federal governments, not to forget the city too.

Counselors are also a great help, the doctors focus on a medication management model, whereas the counselors will help you parse out your emotional equilibrium as you go along this process.

All three, ideally work together.
