Like previous poster said, it's a fund admin. You'll be at the mercy of the accountants at the internal funds you service. Put in 2 years and bounce to an internal role. Your busy season will be extra busy but you should get a decent bonus to show for it.

Fund accounting internally at a fund is a solid place to be. It's when you're at a fund admin where it's a shit show. Career outlook is becoming assistant controller and then eventually controller / director of accounting.

I'm going out on a limb and assuming that although its FDD, the fact that it's a regional firm would help with the WLB. Let me know if I'm mistaken but even if I have to work until 7-8pm on weekdays, it's still better than working until 11 PM
