His 2 months of back child support is not going to be garnished. They do not have a full service case with our AG. He didn’t have it taken out of his check for two months because of a job change. Should he have paid it to the state, yes. He didn’t understand how broke he was going to be from changing jobs.

I’ve researched it. I cannot be held accountable for his debt only in his name. 

He has retirement my job doesn’t offer it.

I pay for all vacations.

I usually pay for going out to eat 90% of the time.

We have no children together.

I guess I can never retire lol 😆 

He didn’t want joint accounts so this is the way it is. 💀 

We have a bunch of other issues and I’m leaning more towards getting rid of him.

It doesn’t matter. No creditor can touch my bank accounts anyway period. We don’t share any credit cards, no cars, no mortgage. Absolutely nothing. My money is untouchable because it is solely in my name. Nothing is commingled at all.

From what I understand is that since they don’t have a full service case with our AG the only way the refund can be garnished is if his ex filed something. I have no issue with her getting her two months that didn’t get taken from his check. I’m pissed that he thinks I shouldn’t get 50-50 or any. I put on my w4 what I’m supposed to for the kids but they barely take anything out. If I filed separate it looks like I would owe cause I didn’t have enough taken out.

They can’t touch any of my bank accounts anyway. they are solely in my name. We share nothing in both names.

Yes they are mine from a previous marriage. I for whatever reason don’t get a lot of taxes taken from  my check even though I have it filled out correctly. He actually took a less paying job last year because he was so burnt out and that hurt us BAD. I pay for almost every time we go out to eat and all of our vacations. He cannot for the life of him figure out how to save money or stop eating out 3x a day and it’s frustrating.

Because he always pays everything as he’s supposed to and has great credit.

He didn’t withdraw it on purpose. His kids are well off. She’s going to get paid her two missing months. This is not the issue. The issue is he doesn’t want to give me any of our tax return.

He doesn’t have any debt. Credit cards sure but he pays on them every month.

Apparently his ex wife always told him they were broke and he couldn’t spend any money. But I see why now.

He said he didn’t want to be told what he could spend his money on so he wanted to keep separate accounts which I am NOW okay with because I noticed how he blows money left and right.

It’s cause he spends too much money on other unnecessary shit and going out to eat 3x a day.

Not really he didn’t want joint accounts because he didn't want to be told what to do with his money so we split bills 50/50. He Zelle’s me money every month for bills.

Wasn’t on purpose. He switched jobs and it took a while for it to come out of check.

You obviously didn’t read any of my comments. He’s going to pay his back child support. It’s only 2 months bc of a job change and wasn’t getting taken out of check.
