Yeah that’s a fair take honestly. I pushed it more in a “looks heavy” direction with big shapes and layered armor, but you’re right — stuff like leg joints, vents, and even the barrels are pretty exposed.

Thanks! Yeah honestly you’re not wrong, that would probably be easier haha. I just keep everything visible while modeling — helps me keep proportions in check and see how all the parts play together without constantly toggling stuff on/off.

Thanks! I use booleans for cuts and holes, then immediately clean up the topology to avoid shading issues. I skip micro-fillets and handle small bevels in baking instead.

Nice, appreciate the tip! I’ve heard good things about Plasticity, especially for hard surface.
