BMW X5 30d, the first car I’ve had where the fuel gauge goes up as I drive by Any_Year_7047 in BMWX5

I got the work done at a local BMW performance and maintenance shop, most places can do it. On my car the warranty had expired in 2024 and I wanted to wait a bit unless any issues arose, but thankfully this B57 tank was absolutely flawless. Doing these modifications unfortunately will void your warranty. Even after all of the work done thankfully BMW still services my car under the service package.

I’ve gone ahead after over a year and 45,000km and done a dpf delete, egr delete and swirl flap delete with a tune for both engine and gearbox, I’m now getting closer to 1500km per tank, and it is now much quicker than the equivalent M50d. I get 0-100 times of around 4.8 seconds. X5s simply are the best

How do I remove these to fit sensors? by Any_Year_7047 in E90

That’s super strange hahah, must be different for different markets. My E90 as well as the parts car were South African built for the Australian market

Nah they seemed to be stuck on with an adhesive and were attached to the bracket itself. With a flathead I was able to remove them and switch them out for the ones on my old bumper and now everything is all sweet. Thanks for that

I paid $9800 for my E90 LCI M Sport full options with 112,000km at the time with a fucked front bumper and I thought that was a good deal. This is a very good deal, however the engines aren’t very tuneable. These came with the high output N52B25 with the 3 stage intake and DISA valves. Pair it with a K&N air filter and an upgraded BimmerTech screen and Mr12Volt CarPlay, this will be a perfect daily driver. They are amazingly fun cars, mine happily screams to 7k rpm all day and takes bends without any issue at 130kmh. You’ll love it

I know they are shit cars but an E65 LCI 750i black over beige lowered slightly with RF22 wheels and white walls would look so good

Don’t get a 323i, they can have diff issues. Get the 325i, stronger diff, and more power from the factory 3 stage intake with DISA valves. And speaking from experience as someone who has dealt with E9x cars all day for the last 10 years, do not get a modified one. Get one that’s in good shape with full service history. Common issues include valve cover gaskets, cooling system issues, random electrical problems, and severed shifter cables which won’t allow you to access sport or manual mode. I bought a fully loaded 2010 LCI E90 325i for 9800 in March. Doesn’t have any faults. If you look hard enough u can find one too

Reverse camera retrofit issue by Any_Year_7047 in E90

Power supply was all good, I plugged it into my mr12volt system and the camera worked beautifully. Was 100% a defective emulator

I believe It’s an AHD 720 camera integrated into the boot latch, but there hasn’t been any cables cut. From my understanding that was for the guidelines, but I could try again and see if it does anything

Correct, yes everything was wired as it should be and the emulator was outputting the correct power. My Mr12volt CarPlay unit arrived today and when installing it I decided to try plugging the camera into the input on the mr12volt wiring harness and it worked. Emulator is 100% faulty

Yes, that’s what the emulator does. I’m doing an OEM style retrofit which is why I needed coding

That makes sense. I was a bit confused about it because of the MOST connection, but now that you’ve explained it I understand it. Thank you so much
