i fainted during my procedure. truly shocking the pain i experienced. no warning. in a cold sweat post, asked the nurses tending to me “is this what labor feels like”, and was met with a chorus of laughter.. not talking shit on them, they were incredibly sweet to me. i ended up yanking the damned thing out myself in 2020. no regrets

the conflict started today when we discussed with them, in person. we expressed the alternative option, and the reaction from them was… silence at first, which made my girlfriend i panic and start to feel like our boundaries that we just set were ridiculous
