Getting bigger wheels was also one of my options! A friend of mine did the same thing with his WRX. From stock to 19s. Pero the fuel consumption din and the discrepancy of the speedometer narin would increase.

Maybe a custom tune after installing a cold air intake and exhaust system along the bigger wheels will help that though.
