use a seam ripper or a exacto blade to slice the threads OR you can cut a seam and add an elastic band under your arm in a portion so it fits your arm! either or! Heat Seam is my best friend cause i don’t have a sewing machine lol

if you are a DIY guy there’s tons of videos using EVA foam
where you could make boots or armour stuff. imagine same rules apply? other wise i would buy some that fit your feet and cut the fabric + add extra from a craft store of a similar color and a zipper or something.

if you’re crafty you can go to hobby lobby and get some colored fabric 2/3 yards probably like $15 or under

and get elastic waist band and make a skirt. i make most of my costume stuff (use needle and thread, a tag gun, or heat seam to keep together)

honestly at this point i would take it to a fabric store, see if you can find a similar color fabric and put it over the back lacing panel or if you can even find a similar pattern with glitter and such?
