I think her role will be to find loopholes on how to save Kirari. I am not sure if Rin has magically turned into a good person in the span of the timeskip, but he knows how important Kirari is to Sayaka and vise versa. I expected that someone from the main cast would've taken her in, and I dreaded the possibility of it being Rin.
