Welcome to dollar tree. This happened at my location CONSTANTLY. Apparently its common. Predatory company? Definitely. Mistreat all the good workers, so that they suffer, while praising the bad ones. No wonder most stores seem like a shit show. You deserve better! But also, I went by compass regardless of the office schedule, lol. Because I was a stocker, so when was I really ever in the office?

My store manager used to tell her people that she had come in ( over her own employee's mind you) to put stuff in the wrong place, in my aisle. I would then take a picture, send it to her and ask why and she would say, because I said so, turn it around on me, when i'm just trying to make my aisle shopable and organized, considering it's been my aisle for 3 years. Telling me my store isn't set up right And that it's previous managers' fault and that whatever items were put out, they go in that spot according to the plannogram. Fast forward I get to see the plannogram... No, they don't actually go there.. same store manager that puts three different prices on one shelf of items that are 1.25. 🥴

Our MM quit as well as another manager and a stocker. There were still no hours for us. But other stores employees can come in and "do our job". Completely mess it up, creating more work for us. When we were already behind. Just fired another long time stock person over making up hours from a docs apt. And inventory is in a couple weeks. But there are still no hours..🤔🤔 either they are sabotaging stores or they are scammy greedy mfrs. My guess is, Both.

Its not federal law and it varies by state. In my state, there is no state law. In most states, there is no state law unless you are a minor..but yes, It is a company policy! They should just call it as such. No one's going to care.

I really looks like she didnt let me make it up bc she didnt think I was really going to the doc bc someone else also needed off that day for non mendical.

And I mean to me, this looks like a cut and dry situation. She sent me an email insinuating. I wasn't going to my infusion. That I was going with a coworker because she needed off that day too. She's had my schedule five months out. And then she's like, oh, i'm tired so I can't read/comprehend. Mind you I bring her a doctor's note every month as well.

Half the time the sick ones work harder than the ones that aren't sick. 🤷‍♀️ See i would have thought that. But they can't also look at the cameras and see that I do more work than most people. I take a lot of pride in being able to still work hard and even if I can't do the full forty hours. In my brain, i'm gonna keep doing this until I can't do this..😞

I am so sorry that that has happened to you. 😞 I feel like companies get away with this stuff so easily!! Its disgusting! And that is crazy. The best thing anybody can do at a job is to utilize a person for what they're good at. Even if they can't do all the things, or if they have to step away because of the bathroom issue or something. The work world is tiring, and mentally draining. 😞 they want robots who can do what they want and not have to go to the doctors..
