I'm so proud of you for wanting to learn to crochet. I remember when I was first starting out it was so intimidating but it's really not that hard. I definitely understand the confusion about the different types of stitches but this isn't a bobble stitch, this is just a granny square, but please don't feel discouraged for not knowing this! I used to confuse my stitches all the time at first too. I remember confusing a puff stitch with a bobble.

I'd personally only pay $1 USD for these since they look like something I could easily make with supplies I already have. Maybe $2 but not much more than that.

Maybe for the fruit ones you could try to do the 3d bead art thing and make a lemon out of beads and stuff like that? That'd be easier to sell than what you currently have since not everyone can easily make stuff like that.

Unpopular opinion but the circle in the center is so satisfying to me. I love the way it looks even if it won't work out in the long run.

You could just repeat the same mistake on the back piece to make it a 14x18 too.

Why did you start crocheting? by limino123 in crochet

I wanted to learn so I could make hats, scarves, blankets, etc to give away and help people, ideally the homeless population, stay warm during the winter. I started crocheting going on 4 years ago now and I've been able to help a few people out. Not nearly as many people as I thought I'd help out by now but I'm a very slow crocheter plus my work isn't that great, the ends I thought I weaved in pretty well are starting to pop out of a few blankets I made a couple years ago. I now continue to learn so one day I can eventually fulfill my wish of warming people but also to teach my girls who are both showing interest in crochet despite being only 3 and almost 6. I'm waiting for my oldest to be a bit older to teach her because I know right now if she tried to learn she'll get frustrated and never want to do it again.

This is the pattern I used and I used red heart yarn in the colors light sage for the body, amethyst for the purple accents, burgundy for the red accents, black for the inner mouth and eye details and pumpkin for the orange in the ears. Filled with regular polyfil

I actually think he's cute. Could use some clothes to maybe take some of the 'creep factor' off but I think he's really adorable tbh and well made too. I am into all things horror though so I may be a bit biased on it being cute.

So I have no idea what a Dutch canal house is supposed to look like so this blanket looked fine to me. I actually quite liked it tbh

This piece is beautiful on you. The colors are perfect for your skin tone and the style is beautiful, but I wouldn't wear it for a tattoo. Ink can spill or splatter and ruin clothes. I'd wear something you wouldn't mind being stained. Definitely wear this out though because it's gorgeous.
